The Ruins of Summer

Heat and drought of summer causes a lot of stress to a lot of plants. Even hardy hibiscus found it hard to beat the summer this year.

Kwanzan Cherry tree.

A new fresh leaf of Kwanzan Cherry tree
of the same tree above.

All hardy hibiscus bit by spider mite
and eaten by beetles.

Hardy hibiscus flower buds
gets dry before making it to a bloom.

Leaves of Camelia
have crisp burn marks
on their tips.

Despite the burn marks,
there's a hope of beautiful
camelia flowers.
