Mint is the earliest herb to spring up after the cold spell of winter's over. It's good for ground cover and just want to spread and grow. We have to thin them out in one of our garden and contain them in pots. We try to grow them in areas that need good cover by the creek, too. We use it for ice mint tea in summer, mint julep, thai salad, mint sauce, and some Mexican recipes. Maybe we'll try mint jelly this year.
