Birds Business

The bird house. We put out three of these in the yard.

Prothonotary warbler's nest built about 10 days ago
in one by grape fence line.
It uses greens from cedar trees.

It has four eggs laid.

This one is located on the other end of the grape fence line
and blue bird has laid 5 eggs before.
Out of the 5 eggs three have hatched
and the babies have left the nest.
This nest is a new one built at the same house
not long after we took the old nest out.

This is the old blue bird nest with two unhatched eggs.
Ants broke the egg on the left.
Bluebird uses dry twigs instead of green cedar leaves
like what prothonotary warbler does.
