Ground Covered

May 11th, 2009.
South wind and cold front from the north had been stirring us up these past few days and as a result flowers and catkins from trees are covering the ground.

Catkins from a pecan tree on gaillardia, honky tonk tulip, mums, and violas.

Pecan tree catkins on blue bonnets and lupines seedlings.

Five fat toes of pecan tree.

White flowers from catalpa tree.

A broken stem full of flowers and buds of catalpa tree.
