March 29, 2009.

This Tulip Honky Tonks were received as a wedding gift from a friend. The bulbs were purchased from White Flower Farm. It is their second year blooms. The flower grows bigger on its stem that also grows longer during its blooming period. Opens during the day, close at night.

Note on the supplier's site:
Soft yellow, blushing to pink, these diminutive beauties are ideal for naturalizing. They are long lived in the garden and will delight you with their winsome grace.
