One Fall Day
October 22, 2009.
We've got another spell of rain (the 3rd or 4th in the month) that brings the total rainfall to 9.6 in. This time the ground has already been all soaked with water and the creek level rises fast. It's fun in a way that our landscape changes with the increment of water level. It's like having a new big lake in the yard for one or two days.

White Wild Flowers
I received a comment today on my past posting about Wild Flowers back in April. It reminds me that the same white flowers are blooming again this time of year and I took a picture of them some time last week. And here it is.

Coleus and Oak Tree Garden
Remember the Oak Garden SOS in September? Here's the garden 6 weeks later.
Four o'clock that were started from seeds are growing
along with lime green coleus,
but the cold weather has started settling in and
I am afraid that their days are numbered.
